14th FS   "Samurais"

The 14th Fighter Squadron, "Samurais" are the premier SEAD platform here in Task Force Trident. The 14th has has it's origins in World War II and is still an active squadron today based in Misawa, Japan. The aircraft of the 14th proudly wear the "WW" tail code signifying it's "Wild Weasel" focus and main mission set. The Samurais have been a staple of Task Force Trident since the Summer of 2024, having been rotated in to take the place of the 77th Fighter Squadron, "Gamblers".  Although primarily focused with SEAD, the 14th FS has excelled in all areas to include combat air patrol (CAP), close air support (CAS) and air interdiction.

The 14th FS is an essential part of Task Force Trident, playing a crucial role in the highly coordinated mission space week in and week out. The Samurais have a competitive and supportive environment where continuous growth towards excellence is pushed for by all members.
